Last night I was hanging out in the garage and Chris came over to work on his Triumph. Gail made some food and brought it out to us. We had tunes, beer, and eats while we're working on our bikes. Perfect! Later, we came into the house and watched the movie 6over while eating a killer dinner.
And as good as last night was, today was even better. The weather was sunny and a bit warm. I spent the morning tweaking on the No Love Shovel and chillin'. Later Vince came over and we went for a ride. The bikes ran good and the route we took kept us out of traffic. We rolled over to Alki Beach taking the backroads then headed back through the warehouse district, blowing through lights and pretty much having the roads to ourselves. Once home, we cracked open a couple of beers and talked about the ride. After the bikes were put away, we came in and put in 6over (again).
One of the highlights of the day was when we had jumped on the freeway to come home. Vince was next to me and I just knew he was digging the ride. It was one of those times when you wanted to just keep on going.
