The build of the No Love Shovel is moving forward as planned. Mr. Miyagi has hard tailed the frame and put 2" of stretch in the down tubes. Vince and Chris have been up there the last couple of weeks and took some phone pics but weren't able to get them downloaded to me, but it looks sweet and the stance is perfect!
As for the motor, Bacon is in the middle of the rebuild and should be getting close to buttoning it up in a week or so. Before he started the build we talked about dependability and performance and what would be the best balance of both and decided on a 84" stroker. To that I say, hell yeah!
I know I am a long way away from getting the No Love back on the road, but this time things are working out the way that I had hoped and I am feeling a real sense of confidence that it will be done right, and on schedule. Both Mr. Miyagi and Bacon have been true to their word in all aspects of this build and with the disappointments and set backs I've dealt with in the past, finding individuals in this game that stand by their reputation really means something...
