And the answer is...rebuild!

So, after much soul-searching, a deal gone bad, and a fortuitous cold call on my part, I am moving forward with reconstructing the No Love Shovel.

The motor is on its way to Texas, where the infamous Bacon has graciously accepted the task of resurrecting the motley collection of much-maligned parts into a very strong runner. I also went up north to see the metal Zen master, Mr. Miyagi, so he could work his magic hardtailing and stretching the frame. He is also going to be stitching together a set of left-handed stainless steel pipes as well

In the meantime, I've been collecting some tasty bits and pieces for the build, like a sweet solo and p-pad from Haifley Bros., and a very clean set of cast axle plates from Hardtail Choppers. We're going to reuse a lot of stock parts to help offset the cost, but most of those will be reworked to some degree for functional and esthetic considerations.

The plan is to be up and running in a raw state by early/mid July, ride it through the summer and then tear it down again next winter for paint.
