When I was growing up my folks entertained a lot. Whenever they had parties everyone would hang out in the game room, which had a pool table and a poker table. There was also a bar there too and this ashtray was always prominently displayed on it. Back then my dad still smoked and so did a lot of his friends and this was the ashtray the guys used while the women preferred the decorated glass ones my mom put out. Even as a kid I thought this ashtray was pretty erotic. And in looking back, I think it was rather bold for its day.
Now days it serves as a catch-all for small parts, screws and such when I'm working in the garage...
