This Sunday is the 29th Annual Oyster Run to Anacortes. It's considered by most to be the last hurrah of the riding season here in western Washington.
It's been many a year since I've been on the run and a lot has changed. The last time I went it was just getting to be big. It was still small enough to do the ride as a pack (albeit a very large pack), but I guess now it so huge that it's a get there anyway you can kind of deal.
The weather may be a bit on the dicey side but as a rule, I’ve found that the people who go when there’s rain, or a chance of, are the ones I want to be around (and just to be on the up and up, we’ll be driving since the bike is still a work in progress).
Should be a good time...
